Dear Parks’ Place Team –
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each of you for the care, compassion, and dignity you provided my dad while he was at Park’s Place. When it was time to choose a place to help care for dad, I can’t imagine anywhere else as welcoming, warm, and lovely. I am so grateful my Mom found this home for him – and by extension our whole family. We were always greeted with smiles when we visited, and my children, Dad’s grandchildren were doted on and welcome to be children while visiting their beloved Papa. Even though dad didn’t have many words, it was so comforting to us to see how comfortable and at ease he always felt. His smiles and disposition were still conveying his essence as the fun, loving and kind guy you all come to know. We will always be grateful for the space, care, love, and beautiful send off the day he passed. We will miss him so much and I know you will too.

Although Dan’s stay at Parks’ Place was complicated and limited we knew it was the right place. Your work to strive for excellence, as a team is notable. This effort is necessary for those with this unpredictable long disease and their families. Thank you for all your staff, caregivers, and volunteers. Thank you for the lovely flowers you sent. Most of all thank Karen and your families for pursing your vision of care with understanding and love.
