In March 2025, we conducted a satisfaction survey among the families of current and former residents of Parks’ Place Memory Care. At Parks’ Place, we prioritize the feedback of our family members, as we believe there is always an opportunity for improvement and a need to recognize exemplary performance. We actively encouraged families to provide their perspectives regarding both the areas in which we excel and those in which we can enhance our offerings.
We are pleased to announce that over 60% of our families participated in the survey, and we are eager to share the results alongside some of the insightful feedback we received.
Of particular significance, we are proud to report that 100% of the families who participated in the survey indicated that they would recommend Parks’ Place to others in need of Memory Care. This unanimous endorsement highlights our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to our residents and their families.

We requested feedback from each department regarding our strengths and areas for improvement. Below is a summary of the feedback received from each department:
Caregivers
The care staff at Parks’ Place has been wonderfully recognized for their deep compassion, gentle approach, and genuine kindness in their interactions with all our residents. Families truly appreciate the attentive care provided, especially when it comes to noting skin changes.
We understand the importance of grooming and hygiene, and we are dedicated to enhancing our efforts in these areas to ensure every resident feels valued and cared for.
Maintenance/Housekeeping
Many families have remarked that Parks’ Place does an exceptional job of keeping both the common areas and resident units clean and fresh. One family commented, “Parks’ Place is always spotless! My mother’s room is exceptionally clean.” Customers also appreciate the quick response from both the housekeeping and maintenance staff when needs arise.
However, some areas were identified for improvement, particularly regarding laundry services. Parks’ Place plans to implement measures to address the laundry concerns expressed by families. Additionally, our housekeeping staff will schedule more frequent vacuuming and mopping of resident room floors.
Admissions Experience
Feedback on the admissions process has been very positive. Many families appreciated the compassion, flexibility, and communication provided by the admissions staff during what can be a difficult and stressful time.
However, one family member mentioned that the paperwork is confusing and lengthy. To address this, Parks’ Place has recently added an electronic signing option, making the process easier and allowing families to complete it off-site.
Clinical Team
One of our families recently shared, “The nurses are incredibly kind and compassionate. They do a wonderful job of communicating any changes and concerns with the family.” We have noticed that increasing the number of in-person care conferences over the past year has greatly enriched our communication. Many family members have expressed their gratitude for the excellent communication from our clinical team and have highlighted how timely they are in addressing any issues. Our customers truly feel that the nursing team at Parks’ Place understands the unique habits and preferences of each resident, treating them with the respect and care they deserve.
Please know that we are committed to continuously improving our communication regarding any changes to residents’ conditions, ensuring that our entire staff is informed and responsive.
Life Enrichment Team
Our families often share heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional variety of experiences and entertainment available at our facility, particularly in relation to Life Enrichment and Engagement. They express joy in seeing their loved ones engage with our offerings, which include pet therapy, music therapy, family social events, as well as the efforts of our entertainers and volunteers. The diverse programs, along with activities offered in the evenings and on weekends, and the personalized interactions between staff and residents are things they truly value.
We understand that while many families enjoy the outside activities we offer, some would love to see even more options available. We hear you and are committed to continuously enhancing our offerings to meet your needs.
Dining Experience
One family member shared their appreciation for our food service, stating that it’s exceptional compared to other facilities. Many family members have also expressed gratitude for the support our staff provides during meal times, which makes a real difference in their daily lives. They especially enjoy the variety of home-cooked meals, along with fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits.
We understand the feedback regarding a desire for fewer sweets and will take this suggestion to heart as we work with our culinary team to enhance our menu further.
Executive Director and Leadership Team
Customers have shared heartwarming feedback about the Leadership Team at Parks’ Place. One recent admission expressed, “I truly appreciate the opportunity to meet the owner, who has personal experiences that inspire her to help.” Many others echoed this sentiment, expressing their gratitude for the open communication and responsiveness of the leadership team. They feel heard and valued, noting that the leaders always take the time to listen to their concerns and address issues with care.
